A cardinal is nesting in the Gardenia bush just outside our front window. Can't really see in the nest from inside the house but if I go out and get to one side of the bush I can see her when I stand on my toes. These were taken with the 10x Optical zoom at max, about 6 feet away from the nest itself. I'm going to try and get some more shots over the next few days.
